Handcut paper collage exploring colour and detail. When I was making the Birds and Flowers collage I wanted to experiment with peoples perception of Beauty. Each of the individual images within the collage are beautiful and even as a whole I think the piece is beautiful, but the intensity of the image makes it hard for the viewer to perceive all of this in one glance. It takes time to fully appreciate all the elements of the piece.
